thelololook is a Toronto-based clothing line created by Lenore "lolo" Clarke (in photograph) in the Spring of 2016. thelololook has appeared in several fashion shows and cultural attractions around the 6ix, including Afrofest and several pop up shops. lolo has styled for many high profile personalities in the media and business worlds. thelololook produces unique, handmade creations, designed and constructed in studio. lolo, an innovator and advocate for change in the fashion industry has aided in reducing harmful waste by providing trendy, thrifted and repurposed clothing items for conscious minded shoppers. thelololook in partnership with the not for profit organization Blackhurst Cultural Centre has created a space for Black women in entrepreneurship. Located at 777 Bathurst Street in the iconic and historically African Canadian Annex neighbourhood, The entrepreneurial series provides a platform and unique pop up shop experience for up and coming designers, artisans and fashionistas to showcase their work in the bustling urban landscape of downtown Toronto.
